Cosequin DS for Dogs - Sprinkle Capsules - Pack of 120
Cosequin is a joint supplement, specially formulated to help maintain healthy joint function in dogs. Cosequin is a quality veterinary glucosamine and chondroitin supplement.
As dogs and cats age, it is common for their joints to become less flexible which affects their mobility and quality of life. Cosequin is an exclusive formula to support and maintain the health of your pet's joints. Cosequin is used in older pets who are getting stiff and arthritic and is designed to help support and maintain the health of your pet's joints and cartilage for more activity and a higher quality of life.
The unique combination of active ingredients in Cosequin include glucosamine hcl, chondroitin sulphate and manganese. Each main ingredient serves a special purpose and it is the combined effect of these performing together that make it so effective. Other products may have some of the same ingredients but they may not be as effective as Cosequin due to the combination and synergistic effect of the ingredients being different.
Dogs weighing between 10 and 25kg - Initial period - 1 to 2 daily. Maintenance level - 1/2 to 1 daily
Dogs weighing between 25 and 50kg - Initial period - 3 daily. Maintenance level - 1 to 2 daily
Dogs weighing over 50kg - Initial period - 4 daily. Maintenance level - 2 daily
After the recommended initial six week loading period, reduce dosage to maintenance level. This should be done gradually in 0.5 - 1 tablet steps, depending on the size of the pet.
Do not alter the Cosequin dosage more than once a month. The chewable tablets can be fed directly to your pet or crushed on food.
