Cobactan is for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cows caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Escherichia coli and other enterobacteriaceae susceptible to cefquinome.

Withdrawal times
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment. Cows may not be slaughtered for human consumption until 48 hours after the last treatment. See also the notes on combined therapy at the end of this data sheet.
Milk must not be taken for human consumption during treatment. Milk must be discarded for 84 hours (7 milkings if cows are milked twice daily) after the last treatment. Milk may not be released for human consumption until 96 hours after the last treatment (at the 8th milking if cows are milked twice daily).
