Metacam Oral Suspension for Horses is used to give relief from inflammation and pain in muscle and joint problems aiding recovery from injury resulting in an earlier return to work. It helps older animals to have a longer useful working life. It is also used to aid recovery from surgery by reducing post operative pain and swelling.
Metacam oral suspension for horses is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for use in horses for
- the alleviation of inflammation and pain in chronic musculo-skeletal disorders
- the alleviation of mild to moderate post-operative pain and inflammation following surgical procedures, e.g. orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.
