Dorwest Tree Barks Powder for Dogs and Cats has soothing properties as well as high digestibility and a low fat content which is ideal for those pets with intestinal disorders or poor digestion. It soothes the entire digestive tract and helps slow the passage of food through the system, so increasing absorption, firming stools and easing the discomfort that often accompanies intestinal disorders.

Made up from finely powdered slippery elm bark (90%) and white poplar bark (10%) which provide a food for the specific nutritional purpose of reducing acute absorptive disorders and to compensate for maldigestion. Suitable for use during periods of acute diarrhoea and in the recovery period following it.

The ingredients are a natural source of anti-inflammatory, pain relieving and soothing compounds that bring relief to animal suffering from these types of conditions.

Due to its digestability, Tree Barks Powder has also been used when weaning young animals and to aid convalescents during the recovery period following an illness.

Dorwest Herbs Tree Barks Powdercan be given indefinitely as required. It can be used with any other medication and can be used on pets from weaning. It is also safe to use if your pet is pregnant or lactating.

Dosage: Give 1 teaspoonful per 10kgs bodyweight daily added to the daily feed or mixed with liquid. Can be increased if required in more severe cases.

CAUTION: Due to the wide range of intestinal disorders, some of which may be serious, it is recommended that veterinary advice is sought before using this product or if the condition fails to improve.
