Warning:

Do not use metacam in horses younger than 6 weeks old. Do not use in pregnant or lactating mares, or horses with gastrointestinal, liver, kidney or cardiac disorders. If any adverse reactions occur, stop treatment and contact your vet for advice.

Metacam should be avoided in animals that are dehydrated, have reduced blood volume or low blood pressure

Metacam 15mg/ml Oral Suspension for Horses

Metacam Oral Suspension for Horses is a Prescription Only Medication used to reduce pain associated with colic (abdominal pain) and to lessen inflammation and relieve pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders (disorders affecting the muscles and bones).

There are currently supply issues with this product, if the product and size on your prescription is out of stock you must see your vet for an alternative. We are only permitted to supply the exact item (brand/bottle size) that is on your prescription.

Read all product instructions carefully and use as directed by your vet.

You should carefully read all product labelling and packaging prior to use.

Treatment is usually given once daily by oral administration, either by mixing with food or giving directly into the mouth using the measuring syringe provided.

If any adverse reactions occur, stop treatment and contact your vet for advice.
