What is a Scheduled Order?

We understand that there are essential items which you need to purchase for your pet on a regular basis, such as food and medication. So to make life easier, you can set up a Scheduled Order with Animed Direct and we'll schedule the order to repeat automatically for you at a frequency of your choosing. We’ll notify you by email 3 days before your next scheduled order is due to process, giving you time to edit it if you need to.

How do I set up a Scheduled Order? 

Whilst placing an order with us you can set up the schedule detailing when you would like future orders to be placed. Here’s how:

  1. Find the products you would like to purchase regularly.
  2. Tick the 'Make this a Scheduled Order' box
  3. Select the date you would like your first Scheduled Order to be placed on.
  4. Select how often you would like orders to be placed automatically for you after that (choose from 2 weeks to 6 months).
  5. Complete the rest of your purchase as normal.

Can I Schedule orders for Prescription Products?

Yes, you can set up Scheduled Orders for Prescription products. If you already have a valid repeat prescription on file with us, we will process your Scheduled Order automatically. If not, we will need you to send a valid prescription to us and our team will carry out the standard prescription validation checks before dispatching your order. We will contact you via email to remind you to provide your prescription to us if this is the case.

How is payment taken?

Payment for your Scheduled Order is taken against the payment method you used when placing the original order. Animed Direct do not store your card details. Our payment providers, Worldpay and Paypal, allow us to charge against your previous order with your consent. By selecting the Scheduled Order option, you confirm that Animed Direct can place these Scheduled Orders on your behalf. You are under no obligation to continue with Scheduled orders, and can pause or cancel your Scheduled Order at any time via the "My Account" section

Can I edit my scheduled order once I’ve set it up?

Yes, you can pause, edit or cancel your Scheduled Order at any time, via the "My Account" section. This is helpful if you are going on Holiday, or find yourself with too much of the product remaining and do not require a new order.
