Hill's Prescription Diet k/d + Mobility Dog Food is specially formulated by nutritionists and veterinarians to help manage chronic kidney disease (CKD) and degenerative joint disease (DJD).
The nutrition of Prescription Diet k/d + Mobility is clinically proven to help protect vital kidney function, slowing the progression of the disease and improve and lengthen quality of life. This nutrition has therapeutic levels of omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil and is enriched with glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate to help preserve joint cartilage and increase mobility.
In addition to high levels of essential amino acids and L-Carnitine, increasing caloric intake will support the dog's natural ability to maintain muscle mass daily.

Recommended for:
- Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD): with concurrent osteoarthritis
- IRIS Stage 2 (non-proteinuric)
- IRIS Stages 3-4
- All IRIS stages with proteinuria
- Acute kidney insult
- Uremic encephalopathy
- Leishmaniasis with concurrent CKD
- Other Indications: CKD IRIS Stage 1 (non-proteinuric)
Not recommended for:
- Growing puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs.
- Patients with hyperlipidemia, pancreatitis, history of pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis.
