Sprinkle it Into Your Dog’s Dinner
Some more discerning dogs might not be fooled by the food wrap trick. In that case, you may like to try breaking the Zylkene capsule apart, and sprinkling the powder directly into your dog’s food. This way they won’t be able to eat around it, or spit it out!
Use a KONG
Our personal favourite method of giving a dog their Zylkene supplement is to use a stimulating treat filler toy. Simply mix the Zylkene powder into a strongly flavoured wet food, such as a tin of Applaws Taste Toppers. Then, spoon the mixture into a KONG. This makes for a fun game for your dog, providing mental stimulation. Plus, it’s a nice, easy way to give them their Zylkene.
